They say Canton’s First Monday Trade Days is more than a flea market and their not kidding. They also say it is the almost post-apocalyptic world of garage sales and flea markets gone mad. If you put together every flea market we have ever been to this market would still be bigger! Canton’s First Monday Market Days started in 1850. You know the Flea Market we went to in Orlando is Florida’s Largest and Trader’s Village in San Antonio is America’s Best. What about Canton? Canton is known as the WORLD’s LARGEST! It is pretty big!

he map for the market looks like a city! In fact, this Flea Market looks like it is larger than the Downtown City of Canton! We wouldn’t be surprised if this Flea Market is indeed what put Canton, Texas on the map, so-to-speak. Here is an aerial view of the market:

Looks like a city but it’s not. This is the Canton First Monday Market Trade Days Flea Market!

On our way to our spot we saw the shuttle service. This Market is so large a shuttle service is needed.

Brother Danny and Sister Linda at our spot.

Sisters Analisa, Felicia and Linda couldn’t stay there too long. The wind was strong and it was chilly.

We took a quick look around the place and didn’t even make a dent in looking at the entire market. Here is a compilation of what we did see…

Everywhere you turned there were people! But the crowds were not chaotic and loud and busy like the one in San Antonio that we went to.

We saw lots of good stuff and lots of junk there but every man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

While look at some Guitars Michael and the Guitar vendor had a little showdown. He called himself Johnny Trash as a joke to make fun of Johnny Cash. He was pretty good actually!
